This Christmas break will be Pip’s fifth time volunteering at CHICKS, and her first ever Christmas break. She wanted to come at Christmas because: “As a child I was lucky enough to have an amazing big family Christmas every year which I loved but also took for granted. I would like to be able to give other children that experience, who are not as lucky as I was.”
Pip’s favourite memory comes from Albatross break in 2014, when all of the children wanted to take a group photo at the top of a drop slide at Kidzworld. They all encouraged each other to sit at the top – even the children who were a little bit scared!
We can’t wait to see Pip & the other 11 volunteers, so we can make more magical memories for children this Christmas!
