Chair of the Board: Barbara Peacock
Barbara is a consultant and visiting Fellow of London Southbank University. Barbara has worked at a senior level in Local Government and the Voluntary Sector over the last 20 years and served as a joint statutory Director of Children’s Services and Adult Services for over eight years.
A social worker by background, Barbara has experience of working with some of the most vulnerable children and their families.
Barbara is passionate about social justice, ensuring the voices of children are heard and that all children have opportunities to enrich their lives. She has experience of working regionally and nationally with health colleagues, the independent sector, Inspectorates and Central Government.
Anisha Reed

Anisha is a Social Worker Team Manager for Children in Care and Care Leavers for Wokingham Borough Council. Anisha started her career as a nursery nurse and has worked with children and families for 27 years. She has a degree in Early Childhood Studies and a Masters in Social Work.
Anisha brings vast hands-on experience of working with children that have experienced trauma, abuse and loss of significant attachment figure
Kofi Mills-Bampoe
Kofi is a solicitor advocate with significant experience of representing clients in high-value contentious matters, including court, arbitration and mediation proceedings across a range of industries. Kofi has particular expertise in High Court claims involving civil fraud or shareholder issues, having successfully acted for many corporates and individuals to obtain and enforce both final judgments and interim relief. He joined Go Beyond in 2024 with a passion for helping vulnerable children and young people.
Martin Waller

Martin is a Chartered Surveyor with 35 years experience in developing a number of hotels, a maths school, student accommodation blocks and various residential and office buildings. He runs a commercial property business with offices in London and Dubai and travels extensively to the Gulf with work. Martin has been a trustee for five years on the Board for two other charities and has been advising the Go Beyond Senior Leadership Team and Board on property aspects for two years. Martin has been a passionate participant in children’s sport for nearly 10 years.
Simon Boss

Simon brings with him a wealth of experience, having been Chief Executive of top 50 law firm Shoosmiths. As a leading figure on the responsible business/purpose agenda Simon took responsibility for Shoosmiths’ social mobility, diversity and inclusion and wider ESG agenda. He is a former member of TheCityUK Legal Panel and a member of the Advisory Board of Business in the Community in the West Midlands. Simon now lives and works in Cornwall.
Sophia Dancygier
Sophia is a London based financial services executive. She spent 18 years of her career building and scaling global businesses in financial data, software and investible indices at IHS Markit. Sophia joined start-up Markit in 2004 and exited the firm as a partner in 2022 following the successful completion of a $44bn merger with S&P Global. Her professional highlights include launching several award winning products, completing multiple acquisitions and partnerships and building highly successful diverse teams across the globe.
Sally Carruthers
Sally has worked in philanthropy for over 25 years as a consultant, campaign director and chief executive of the Poetry School for seven years – an Arts Council National Portfolio organisation with a global cohort of students both in person across the UK and online worldwide. Whilst there she set up the world’s two largest environmental poetry prizes; The Laurel Prize and Simon Armitage’s Poet Laureate project, The Laurel Prize. Previous to that she worked as the campaign director for OnSide Youth Zones, a national children’s charity which builds and operates Youth Zones in areas of multiple deprivation. She is currently Senior Advisor – Philanthropy for the Healthy Brains Global Initiative which focuses on outcome
With a passion for inclusion, equality as well as nurturing and mentoring diverse teams Sally is honoured to be part of Go Beyond’s board. In her spare time Sally is a committed re-wilder and is currently finishing her first novel.
David George

David has worked for 25+ years in the Life Sciences sector as a strategic consultant in Commercial Digital Excellence covering sales & marketing process improvement through technology. He is currently a Managing Principal, Business Consulting at EPAM Systems. He is relatively new to the charity sector though he has worked with the French charity EquiLibre based in Lyons and the National Film & television School in the 1990s to help them in develop their corporate fundraising activities.
David is honoured to join the Go Beyond trustees and brings his lifelong commitment and enthusiasm for providing support, role models and mentorship to young people, especially those facing adversity in their daily lives. Outside of his professional work, David is a keen tennis player and hiker.
Dawn George (Chartered FCIPD)
Dawn George is a highly accomplished Senior HR Consultant and Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), bringing over 30 years of HR leadership experience across complex and fast‑paced environments. She is recognised for developing people‑centric strategies that drive engagement, shape organisational culture, and support long‑term business performance.
Dawn has held senior HR roles across multiple large organisations and served for more than a decade at the Eden Project, where she progressed from Head of HR to Director of HR & Inclusion and later Chief People & Culture Officer. She led Eden through significant organisational changes, championed values‑based leadership, and strengthened their equality, diversity, and inclusion agenda. Her work is widely respected for its integrity, strategic depth, and human‑centred approach to managing change.
Now working independently, Dawn continues to advise organisations on people strategy, culture, DEI, succession planning, organisational change, and senior leadership development. She is valued for her calm, thoughtful leadership and her ability to enable positive, sustainable workforce transformation.
Working independently means that Dawn now has time to support her passions alongside her career. She will be working with the Board and CEO to ensure that People focussed matters for our employees, volunteers and residential guests are supported ethically and grow for the future alongside the development of the organisation and it’s ambitions.
Sharon Scully
Sharon Scully is a highly experienced Finance Director having worked for over 30 years in large corporates including British Airways and AXA Assistance. 
She has a wealth of financial experience as well as skills in strategy, commercial negotiation, compliance and leadership.
Sharon now works as a consultant offering Fractional Finance Director services to a number of small and medium sized owner-managed businesses. She is passionate about helping people to achieve their goals and dreams.
Working on a part-time basis now enables Sharon to have the opportunity to follow her own passions which includes her recent move to Cornwall to be able to enjoy a more outdoor focused life. She wants to be able to give back to the community and in particular to help children lead a full and better life. She has joined the Board of Go Beyond as Treasurer Trustee and will use her finance expertise to support the Management Team and Board to provide as many breaks as possible to the children who really need them.
