About the Challenge
With a backdrop of the South Downs National Park, this really is an amazing setting to challenge yourself and conquer the miles, whilst making a difference for young people. Taking place on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 September, you will be joined by over 2,000 adventurers for an experience of a lifetime. The full 100km route starts at Eastbourne, travels up Beachy Head, followed by the magnificent Seven Sisters and along the South Downs Way, with stunning views over the sea. Brighton will mark the half way point, moving on to Devil’s Dyke before crossing the finish line in the historic Arundel. It is an amazing journey with incredible views throughout.
There are five route options to choose between from the full 100km route to the half or quarter route challenges:
- 1st Quarter Challenge – 25km route from Eastbourne to Alfriston on Saturday 4 September 2021
- 1st Half Challenge – 55km route from Eastbourne to Hove on Saturday 4 September
- 2nd Half Challenge – 45km route from Hove to Arundel on Sunday 5 September
- Full Continuous – The Full 100km route from Eastbourne to Arundel in one go on Saturday 4 September 2021
- Full 2 Day ‘Daylight’ – The Full 100km route from Eastbourne to Arundel over the 2 days with an overnight stop in Hove

Self Fund
Pay the full cost of the event place yourself, then fundraise whatever you want, with no set target or deadline. There’s no cost at all for us!

What to Expect
An incredible route in a beautiful setting. The Ultra Challenge team will be there to give full support and refreshments along the way and you will be surrounded by likeminded individuals so you can have fun and focus on giving smiles to children who need you with every step. PLUS you’ll get a free medal, t-shirt, glass of bubbles and feel good celebration once you cross the finish line to celebrate your fantastic achievement!
