Our Charity Golf Day at Trethorne Golf Club in Launceston, Cornwall, was set to return for its 19th consecutive year in 2020 but was postponed in June because of the coronavirus pandemic. At the time we agreed a new date for the event to go ahead instead, which was due to be in October.
However, it is with deepest regret that due to the ongoing restrictions we have had to cancel the Golf Day completely.
CHICKS Regional Fundraiser Mick Ryan has a special message for all those who were due to take part in this popular annual event: “I know what this day means to everyone and what a popular event it has been so I am saddened to announce it is no longer able to go ahead. I have been in touch with Trethorne Golf Club to discuss future events but in the meantime express our sincere apology that this Golf Day will not go ahead in 2020 as planned.”
Our huge thanks go to all those who had planned to take part in, support or sponsor the event including new main sponsors Vision Independent Financial Planning, who have already given a great deal of support to CHICKS, and Efficient Comms, who had once again sponsored all the hole-in-one prizes.
