Situated just outside the small hamlet of Fenny Bentley, Derbyshire, our Daleside Centre is a former farm and holiday cottage sitting within approximately 660 acres of Peak District about three miles (five km) northeast of Ashbourne.
The town of Ashbourne provides local facilities including supermarkets, pharmacies, shops, public houses and restaurants alongside bus routes into the Peak District and Derby. With a cosy cottage and larger farmhouse available to hire at the Centre, you’ll find the perfect spot for a rural getaway to begin exploring all the Peak District has to offer.
Cottage
Get off the grid in our delightful, WiFi-free one double bedroom cottage, all on one level, set among the rolling hills of the Peak District. The cosy cottage boasts a living space with a sofa and small dining table, bathroom with a bath and shower over, a small kitchen and basic laundry facilities. The cottage is available for weekend breaks and during weeks our breaks for young people are not running; the perfect romantic couple’s retreat from which to explore the Peak District and watch panoramic sunsets.
Access
Daleside Cottage is situated up a long drive approx 1/4 mile form the main road. There is free parking next to the cottage.

Farmhouse
Bring a large group to our old farmhouse, accommodating up to 24 people in a combination of bunk and single bedrooms with six bathrooms, some ensuite, and two seperate WCs. The farmhouse has a commercial kitchen to cater for all, a large dining area, quiet chill out room and lounge. Perfect for clubs and scouting groups, school and educational residentials, organisations supporting families and young people, charities and not for profit organisations. The farmhouse can only be rented during weeks our breaks for young people are not running and over weekends.

Coal BBQ available upon request (hirer responsible for purchasing coal and cleaning the BBQ after use)

Perfect for al fresco dining a short distance from the main house. Each accommodating up to eight people.
Car Park
Car parking for approximately 30 cars across two car parks.
Barns
Two barns containing sunken trampolines, sports areas, games and craft rooms are available to hire following discussion and subject to your needs (please note it is a condition of hire that any activities in this area using the trampolines must be fully supervised and the hirer must hold £5 million public liability insurance) and mid-sized MUGA (Multi-Use Games Arena).

As a charity all income generated from the hire of our farmhouse will directly support the essential maintenance and upkeep of Go Beyond to continue support to young people attending breaks.
Additional Services
Additional services including children’s activities and supervision, catering and housekeeping can be provided during your week. Examples of available activities include bushcraft and fire-lighting skills, orienteering, team games for a range of ages, baking activities. We will be happy to discuss your bespoke requirements with you.
