About the Challenge

Join over 2,000 adventurers on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 July for the 2021 Yorkshire Challenge. Explore the historic landscapes and ancient landmarks of the Yorkshire Dales, all to give children and young people breaks that last a lifetime.

Choose from five route options, from the full 100km route to the half or quarter route challenges:

  • 1st Quarter Challenge – 28km route from Nidderdale to Ripley Castle on Saturday 17 July 2021
  • 1st Half Challenge – 50km southern loop starting and finishing in Nidderdale on Saturday 17 July 2021
  • 2nd Half Challenge – 50km northern loop starting and finishing in Nidderdale on Sunday 18 July 2021
  • Full Continuous – The Full 100km loop starting and finishing in Nidderdale all in one go on Saturday 17 July
  • Full 2 Day ‘Daylight’ – The Full 100km figure 8 loop starting and finishing in Nidderdale, taking on the southern loop on Saturday and the northern loop on Sunday, with an overnight stop in Nidderdale

Charity sponsorship (Only pay £5 registration fee! Enter code CHARITYSUMMER at the checkout

Pay a small registration fee, do lots of fundraising and we’ll cover the cost of your event place!

Full Challenge £15 fee and £595 sponsorship

Half Challenge £10 fee and £395 sponsorship

Quarter Challenge £5 fee and £245 sponsorship

Mixed Funding 

Pay half of the event place cost yourself, fundraise a bit less and we’ll pay the balance of your place cost!

Full Challenge £99 fee and £299 sponsorship

Half Challenge £64.50 fee and £199 sponsorship

Quarter Challenge £39.50 fee and £119 sponsorship

Self Fund

Pay the full cost of the event place yourself, then fundraise whatever you want, with no set target or deadline. There’s no cost at all for us!

Full Challenge £198 fee

Half Challenge £129 fee

Quarter Challenge £79 fee

You’ll get full support and refreshments all the way to the finish line so you can focus on taking strides for the children who need you. PLUS you’ll get a free medal, t-shirt a glass of bubbles and will finish to cheers to celebrate your achievement!

How to sign up

Sign up in just a few easy steps. Click here to go to the Ultra Challenge Yorkshire Challenge sign up page. Select your payment option and route length. Enter your details and when asked, choose ‘Other Charity’ and ‘Go Beyond’ on the drop down menu of charities to support. Pay your fee and you’re in! Thank you!
