In 2026 we will be reaching even more vulnerable young children, through our new partnership with Cardfields in Essex.

The Need For Go Beyond in the South East
For the first time, we are bringing Go Beyond directly to children from London’s most disadvantaged communities, where thousands are missing out on safe spaces, green places and the simple joys of childhood.
We believe every child who faces serious challenges in their lives deserves a break. That’s why we are on a mission to break down barriers for London’s most vulnerable young people. Our first step is a new partnership with Cardfields, a beautiful outdoor centre in Essex just an hour from London. Our ambition is to grow Go Beyond to be able to support children in the South East and use this partnership model as a blueprint for expansion across the UK.
-

One in three children in London are growing up in poverty
Despite having the highest concentration of wealth in the UK, over 700,000 children are growing up in poverty in London.
-

At Go Beyond we know a few days away can be transformative
But for many children, the biggest barrier to accessing a Go Beyond break is the challenge of travelling to our centres in Cornwall and the Peak District.
-

In 2026, we’ll run six breaks for an additional 100 vulnerable children
Thanks to our partnership with Cardfields in Essex we will be able to support vulnerable children in London and the South East like never before.
But we can’t do it alone, we need your support to bring our vision to life. From referring children who need a break, giving your time as a volunteer or helping us raise vital funds, you can help us transform children’s lives in the South East
