Children enjoying a break at Coastal Centre in Tywadreath have been enjoying memorable movie nights accompanied by a generous supply of popcorn, thanks to Trewithen Dairy.

Following the huge success of Trewithen Dairy’s movie-themed Scone Revolution event at the Royal Cornwall Show, the company had a surplus of popcorn. Rather than letting it go to waste, the family run dairy decided to donate it to Go Beyond.

Francis Clarke, Director of Trewithen Dairy, says: “Go Beyond’s week-long breaks are packed with a terrific schedule of events to raise young people’s spirits, so this is a great opportunity for us to contribute to their weekly movie nights and make their guests feel extra special. We admire the wonderful work of this charity, as it provides children who face difficult circumstances with a chance to create their own positive memories during their week away from home. They get to meet other children, engage in play, and receive care from a dedicated team.”

Sara Shearman, Director of Fundraising and Communications at Go Beyond, shared her gratitude, saying, “Movie nights are highly anticipated by the children during their stay. Having plenty of popcorn to enjoy adds to the enjoyment. We really appreciate the thoughtful gesture from Trewithen Dairy.”
